This is an information carrd for my RP OC, Jinhae Yang. This is meant to be a brief card to explain my character quickly without too much reading. The info below is for better understanding of my limitations and boundaries!

info i. This OC has been built mostly around her own story and situation. Jinhae is NOT the Warrior of Light. I prefer her as her own character in her own situation, rather than a person who's part of the main story's destiny. (AUs where she's connected to the WOL in some way are fine, however.) info ii. I'm good to RP in-game and on Discord! Just please understand that I may be slow to reply at times as I have a life outside of this game and things that will occasionally get in the way of my focus. I will be present when I can be, so please be patient! ♡ info iii. Though I'm still in the beginning of the game, I have actually been spoiled on most events to come in the future of the game and its expansions. Please understand that I am not bothered by spoilers of this game in the slightest and don't bother avoiding them as knowing them doesn't personally ruin my experience. It actually gives me things to look forward to and motivates me to keep playing!
info iv. Jinhae's story is based heavily around her own trauma and struggles. Her story contains triggers of child abuse, unethical treatment of human beings, as well as death and loss. Please keep these things in mind if these things make you uncomfortable or trigger unpleasant feelings! info v. While Jinhae is an adult woman and I personally don't mind NSFW conversation and headcanons, I don't enjoy writing sexual interactions outside of dialogue and flirting. Please respect this boundary and if any sort of relationship of this kind crops up for her, I'd prefer to time-skip rather than write these experiences. Thank you so much for understanding! info vi. Personality As if born to the world few months after the Calamity, Jinhae is an amnesiac wandering the land like new. Discovered by Guildmaster Thubyrgeim of the Arcanist Guild, Jinhae has been under her care and reacquainted with the world around her through indulged curiosity and study. She's clueless to a bit of an innocent degree, but very inquisitive and observant of the people around her and the places she visits. Bubbly and playful, Jinhae goes out of her way to make sure the people around her feel happy and safe.Though outwardly a delight and a genuine beacon of light to anyone having a dreary day, Jinhae herself has her own battles to fight. Her lack of memory makes it difficult for her to connect with the people around her in a way that's substantial. She carries fears and physical memories that she cannot place and sees things that others seem incapable of seeing themselves. Through this, she attempts to handle and understand them alone to avoid being a bother to others. She's doing her best to find her true self and learn who she used to be, chasing any lead that might guide her to her origin.

Born Yesterday?Despite clearly being a young adult, Jinhae's memories seem to begin after the age of 14, the year of the first Battle of Carteneau. She's an amnesiac who seemed to have been sheltered before her memory loss, leaving her to lack understanding for the world around her at large and cultural knowledge outside of what she's read and seen. She's doing her best to remember who she is and the world she lost!A Lousy Arcanist...Despite the spellbook that she keeps on her hip, Jinhae isn't the greatest at casting and connecting with Arcanima. She's sloppy and a bit hasty, often tiring herself out rather than working with the proper calculations to avoid a poor outcome. The Carbuncle she can summon is rowdy and a bit unruly, rarely listening to her instructions. However, by some odd chance, she happened upon a Scholar stone in her travels...Handy and Clever!Unexpected to most, Jinhae is very skilled at fixing objects and creating new things out of parts. She's particularly great with clockwork and very good at fixing clocks and machines that function with gears. While math isn't her strong suit, she's very good at puzzles and solving physical problems.A Little Friend?Often at Jinhae's side is a little rusty Mammet #001. His paint is dull and chipped and he lets out little clicks and clanks when he moves, but his clockwork is operational. Jinhae found him left broken in the trash and went through the trouble of repairing him to the best of her ability. He's her personal project and best friend, affectionately named Click for the noises he makes!Is That A Ghost...?Jinhae, at times, is stalled when in the presence of unseen beings and things. She doesn't tell people often, but she has a strange ability to sense presences that are unseen and predict oncoming threats seconds before they occur. A gift of the Echo? A supernatural curse? No one really knows and she can't tell you herself. Jinhae is a bit worried that this has a lot to do with the memories she can't recall.Garlond Ironworks Apprentice!After proving to be more than capable with machines as a result of her time volunteering to assist studies of Allagan History in Mor Dhona, Jinhae has been taken up as an apprentice engineer of Garlond Ironworks! She's learning fast and becoming more skilled with advanced tech study. Her specialty lies in clockwork and mammets!
